Bethesda Youth (middle and high school) are participating in Ames Reggie’s Sleepout, Saturday, March 24. We are registered with the event, and you can sign-up by clicking here. All Bethesda youth under age 18 also need to complete the two forms available here (click to download #1, and click to download #2), complete and return to Dan Hinderaker, Youth & Family Ministries Director).

We will all sleep under the stars on the football field at Jack Trice Stadium at Iowa State University. The event supports three organizations working to address youth homelessness in our community: YSS, Assault Care Center Extending Shelter and Support (ACCESS) and Emergency Residence Project (ERP).

Ask family, friends and neighbors to donate to your team. Then, bring a box, small tent (no stakes) and/or sleeping bag to Jack Trice Stadium to set up camp for the night. There will be entertainment, activities, music, games and of course, the McFarland Clinic Boxed-In Design Contest.

Food and drinks will be served. (Outside food, snacks, gum and beverages will not be allowed. Exceptions: Those with food allergies or special meal requirements can bring their food and snacks, which will be stored in the event’s food tent.)
